Kvalita života a jej priestorová diferenciácia v okresoch Slovenska

The aim of the study is to comprehend the quality of life, to identify its substance, and the factors controlling it along with the task of geography in such study. By means of a set of indicators, which were aggregated into the quality of life index, an answer to the question how is the quality of life spatially differentiated in individual districts of Slovakia is sought. Twenty-one indicators are identified in three domains. Spatial differentiation of life quality in the domains and the aggregated quality of life index is represented on maps. The resulting quality of life index is derived from the characteristics.
