About article:
The paper contains conception of regional hydrogeography of Slovakia which leans on six regional units complying with condition of "regionality" with regards to long-term hydrological balance. Comprehensive characteristics of regional units is based on regional values of hydrological and physical-geographical characters which cover not only the size of hydrological balance components but also genesis and quality of runoff and take into the account the key problems rising from the relationship between the runoff and land cover or economic activities carried out in basins of regional units.
