About article:
The massif of Sinec is a very prominent relief feature in the Vepor section of the Slovenské rudohorie (Slovak Ore Mountains), composed of metamorphic and intrusive rocks. It is conspicuous by its arched longitudinal and transversal profiles. In the present paper geomorphological and geological evidences are given supporting the view that the massif is a dome bowed up in consequence of internal shearing.
