About article:
As also other scientific spheres – beside geography – endeavour after the complex study of landscape, it is necessary to develop a fruitful interdisiciplinary cooperation between them, which can lead to an integration of the results of geographical, ecological, economic and sociological approaches, the geographical one being irreplaceable. Such an investigation of landscape like that cannot be realized in the framework of traditional scientific disciplines (e, g. geography, economics, sociology), but within new interdisciplinary scientific spheres, for instance, under the name of ,,landscape ecology“ in other word ,,geoecology“ (in its wide conception) or „integral landscape science“. The necessity of an interdisciplinary solving the problems is, however, in contrast with preparation of scientific workers in the framework of traditional disciplines. The scientific-pedagogical workers ought to endeavour after moderating this contrast by rearranging the educational programmes and reorganizing the working places.
