Year, pages: 1997, 187 - 204
Language: slo
Keywords:
runoff geomorphic processes, surface runoff, geomorphic effect, extreme rainfalls, concentrated flow erosion, rill and interrill erosion, gully erosion, ephemeral gullies, sheet wash, muddy floods
Document type: článok/journal
About article:
The contribution summarizes and generalizes the results of study of geomorphic consequences of surface runoff during particular extreme rainfall events in the Myjava Hills in the years 1993 – 1996. It precises the terminology of runoff geomorphic processes (i.e. processes triggered by operation of surface runoff in the period of rainfall and snow melt events), typifies these processes acting in the area under study during extreme rainfalls, evaluates their immediate geomorphic effects, while also assesses the influence of land use, crop pattern and topography in the coiirsc of these processes.
