About article:
The study is dedicated to the anthropic changes of relief and those of hydrological phenomena in industrial area of Horná Nitra as affected by the mining and energy producing industries. It analyses the origin of new relief forms in the consequence of underground and surface mining of coal and storage of wastes of the energetic and Chemical Industries. It points at the gradual sequence of the changes of the natural processes in landscape leading to origin of new relief forms and hydrological phenomena which determined the course of natural processes, response of landscape, and environmental impact.
