Khwarizmi International Award

The Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology organizes annualy
the Khwarizmi International Award KIA in memory of the Iranian astronomer Khwarizmi.
The purpose of this award is to acknowledge the efforts made by researchers, innovators and inventors all over the world and to appreciate their high quality research work and contributions to different fields of science and technology such as engineering, basic sciences, human sciences, agriculture, biotechnology and nanotechnology.
The official awarding ceremony is held during the first week of February, 2008.
Candidatures, duly presented in English, should be submitted no later than the 31st October 2007.
