Pozostatky starších povrchov zarovnávania reliéfu v československých Karpatoch

The contribution deals with remains of older surfaces of levellings in the Czechoslovakian Carpathians, from the period before the Eocene transgression, from the Helvetian, the Tortonian, the lower Pliocene, and from the end of the Pliocene. The author points out their different genesis. He emphasizes the signi-ficance of the fixation of old levelled surfaces by the products of the Neogene vulcanism and by the sediments of Eocene and Neogene seas. The different elevations of the present have been caused by the tectonic movements.
