Rekreačné prostredie ako organická súčast životného prostredia

The present paper is concerned with the problems of recreational environment as part of the environment. Difficulties connected with its definition are discussed, special characteristics of the recreational environment are showen and fundamental subtypes of the recreational environment in Slovakia are characterized along with their developmental localization aspects, with references to their relation to other types of the environment and to problems of their perspective development. Concluding, the author points out the necessity and great practical significance of studying the recreational environment within the framework of the geographical research of the environment.
