The article deals with the importance of landscape relief for the evaluation of territory, from the point of view of recreational needs. In its fundamental part, the article directly starts from the theory of geographical landscape, as a spatial system, and from the position and importance of relief its system, as well as from their transformation into problems concerning recovery, especially from the aspect of the always more required automatization of the designing process, by using the calculation and drawing technique. In this short survey, the part of urbanistic research is given, the object of which was to elaborate an evaluation method resulting in a numerical and graphical output based on programs for an IBM 360/40 Computer.
