The aim of the contribution is describing the technique to delimit multisigned regions. Methodically the paper is divided into three parts: 1. arrangement of data; 2. regional grouping; 3. setting out the specifical signs of delimitated regions. To demonstrate the technique, the regions of the ČSSR and 19 indices from the employment rate in the branches of socialist sector of national economy have been chosen. The data have been transformed into the quadridimensional space of components. In the regional grouping only the differences between directly neighbouring territorial units have always been reckoned. In each cycle of grouping, to set out the most similar couples of territorial units, Wroclawian taxonomy – the dendrite method – is used. A means of setting out the specifical signs of the individual regions was a standardization of indices.
