The final map to a scale of 1:500 000 has been compiled on the basis of a method based on the correlation of sides and angles of right-angle triangle. The metod mentoined has been described in the papers 12, 28, 32. The mean angle of relief inclination has been ascertained from topographical maps to a scale of 1:25 000. The respective measurings have been made within a square network with a side length of 1 km. On the basis of frequency curve and practical aspects the scale of mean values of relief inclination has been made, the scale being divided into 8 groups (Map IJ. The map of the mean angle of relief inclination shows a high degree of correlation with the map of relative vertical dissection of the territory (201. The practical aspect of relief inclination rate in studying the landscape has been emphasized.
