Abrázia po obvode vodnej nádrže Domaša v Nízkych Beskydách

In the submitted contribution attention is paid to character and intensity of present geomorphological processes running along the fringes of the water reservoir Domaša in the Nízke Beskydy Mountains. The problem of both slope erosion and bank abrasion of the reservoir mentioned in relation to both structure and relief of the territory within its immediate surroundings is solved. The aim of the work is to contribute to elucidation of both the relation and dependence of both erosion and abrasion on the character of flysch and Quaternary sediments building the slopes and banks of the water reservoir, further on the character of relief, especially inclination rates of the territory and at the same time on the character of vegetation cover preserved along the fringes of the reservoir. A significant role falls in this direction to anthropogenic factors, which exert influence especially on the intensity of slope processes and consequently on bank abrasion itself. A significant role, regrettably frequently negative one, is plaid by man mainly by an unprofessional and in places uncontrolled construction of recreation establishments.
