Sociálno-priestorová štruktúra Bratislavy v kontexte faktorovej ekológie

This paper is designed to contribute to the very small set of factorial-ecology studies concerning socialist cities. The urban area selected for the study is the city of Bratislava, the Capital and the largest city of Slovakia. Using data from the 1980 Population and Housing Census of Czechoslovakia, a particular attention is given to both the interpretation of the basic dimensions of the city social space and the examination of the spatial patterns associated with these dimensions. In conclusion some comparisons are made between Bratislava and other socialist cities.
