Regionálne typy sociálno-priestorovej štruktúry Bratislavy

In this paper an attempt is made to produce a regional typology of residential areas within the city of Bratislava. Using two multivariate techniques (cluster analysis and multiple discriminant analysis) and the scores on four basic dimensions taken from the factorial ecology study of the city, seven regional types of residential areas are identified. In the subsequent discussion the most important characteristics of these types are described by the location of the areas and the mean scores on all basic dimensions.
