PhDr. Peter Salner, DrSc.
1975 - 2022 He has worked at the Institute of Ethnology and Social Anthropology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (SASc), at present as a Senior researcher. Specializing in social culture of the Jewish community and urban ethnology.1997 – 2013 President of Jewish Community in Bratislava
2003 He received the degree of Doctor of Sciences from the Comenius University in Bratislava
1980 He received the degree of Candidate of Sciences and PhDr.
1969-1974 Student at the Department of Ethnology of the Philosophical Faculty of Comenius University (FFUK)
Peter Salner was awarded by the Mayor of Bratislava Prize (2015), by the SASc Prize for scientific contribution (2021) and the E. E. Kisch Award for the book P. Salner et al.: "This was Bratislava" (1992) .
He published 19 books and more than 100 expert studies
