Univ., Prof. in physics 1996 - SUT, director of Inst. of Physics SAS 1983 - 1992, member of Presidium of SAS 1988 - 1989 and 1992 - 2009, president of SAS 1995 - 2009. Principal investiogator of 18 national and 13 international projects, including 4 x NATO, 4 x CNR, etc. Research Inst. of Electrical Engn. 1964 - 1983 and Inst. of Physics 1984 - up to date, 21 topics like amorphous semiconductors, laser technology, X - ray optics, GMR, nanoparticles, etc. Member of 17 scientific societies, some of them contemporary, member of sci. councils and governing boards of 10 universities, teaching 27 years, 91 awards and prizes, like Pribina Cross of the I. class, Cross of the President of SR, Crystal Wing, National V.
