After graduating in theatrology at the Academy of Performing Arts, she completed her doctoral studies in aesthetics at the Slovak Academy of Sciences. She is mainly interested in the history of opera and the history of musical theatre in Slovakia, but also publish studies and reviews on contemporary Slovak opera and drama theatre. She is a researcher at the Institute of Theatre and Film Research of the Slovak Academy of Sciences and at the Research Centre of the Faculty of Music and Dance of the Academy of Performing Arts of the Slovak Academy of Performing Arts. Between 2021 and 2024, as the Secretary of the Opera Studio, she participated in the creation of several opera productions and projects. She completed a six-month research stay in Vienna, during which she investigated the intersections and historical connections between Slovak and Austrian opera theatre. Since 2021 she has been the editor-in-chief of the peer-reviewed journal Theatrica, and since 2024 she has held the position of manager and coordinator for audiovisual editorial activities of the VŠMU. As a reviewer she publishes in domestic and foreign periodicals. She is the author of the opera and ballet chapter in the monograph by Vladimír Štefko et al. The Theatre Magician Jozef Bednárik. She is currently working on the preparation of a monograph about Branislav Kriska.
