I am currently a postdoctoral research associate at the Institute of Hydrology at the Slovak Academy of Sciences (IH SAS). I obtained a PhD in Hydraulic Sciences, specializing in hydraulic structures involving physical and numerical hydraulic modeling. My main area of expertise is rivers' hydraulic science, sediment transport, and hydraulic structures modeling. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to studying fluvial hydraulics, particularly sediment transport, using a mix of laboratory work, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling, and field research in rivers. My teaching activities also focused on structures and fluid mechanics. I have co supervised three master's students, guiding them in CFD modeling of bridge pier scouring. My expertise in water flow modeling was honed during my master's, PhD, and post-doctoral studies, covering various aquatic environments, from wetlands to rivers and reservoirs.
