Curriculum vitae

Mgr. Miroslava Šudila Žilinská

I studied psychology at Comenius University in Bratislava and Trnava University in Trnava. I also completed a one-year MA in Gender Studies at the Central European University in Budapest. For almost 10 years I worked in the field of field social work and drug prevention as a psychologist and project manager in NGO Odyseus. I also have a working experience within school and clinical psychology, volunteering, as an external project evaluator, consultant and lecturer in the NGO PDCS. I am interested in value conflicts, participation and crisis work in various forms. From autumn 2020 I am a full-time student of the PhD programme in Health Psychology at the Faculty of Social and Occupational Sciences of the Charles University with a training position at the Institute for Research in Social Communication at the Slovak Academy of Sciences. The topic of my dissertation is "Boundaries in sex and women's sexual subjectivity: a feminist relational discourse analysis". I am also currently involved in the implementation of the H2020 - ATHENA project, which aims to develop a gender equality roadmap for the SAS in collaboration with other EU partner institutions. In my spare time I work on psychological aspects of the climate crisis.
