JUDr. Patrik Rako, PhD., LL.M., LL.M.
Patrik Rako studied law at the Trnava University in Trnava (B.Sc., Mgr., JUDr.) and criminal law at the Pan-European University (PhD.) under the supervision of Gen. prof. JUDr. Jaroslav Ivor, DrSc. on the topic of the Right to a fair trial in the sources of criminal law. At the same time, during his doctoral studies, he completed postgraduate studies in ADR, Investment Law, Banking and China Foreign Trade Law at the City University of Hong Kong (LL.M 2014). After returning from his studies in Hong Kong, he was accepted to Advanced Legal Studies at Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, USA (LL.M 2016).In his practice, he focuses on corporate compliance and related best practices, white-collar crime, trial and administrative disputes, highly regulated industries such as energy, banking, highway construction or waste management. He also provides consultancy in the field of Fintech and Data protection. As an external advisor to a judge of the Constitutional Court of the Slovak Republic, he specialized in fair trial.
