Mgr. Dóra Belán
I completed my master's degree at the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences of Comenius University in Bratislava. In my master's theses I examined the attitudes, prejudices and relations between the Slovak majority and the Hungarian minority in Slovakia. I am currently a PhD student of social and work psychology in Comenius university with workplace at the Institute for Research in Social Communication of the Slovak Academy of Sciences. The topic of my dissertation is "The theory of intergroup threat vs. direct contact hypothesis", in which we will look upon the attitudes of Slovaks toward various minorities in Slovakia. Beside my doctoral studies, I work in an international company in the department of development programs, where my main task is psychodiagnostic testing of the employees.
