International Prize of the SAS for 2011 in the field of technical sciences

The Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAS) annually on Constitution Day (September 1) awards the International Prize of the SAS to foreign nationals as a special tribute to the recognition of their outstanding achievements in the realms of social sciences, humanities, arts and culture, in the field of natural sciences and in the field of technical sciences.
Pursuant to the ruling of Presidium of the SAS, the Prize for 2011 shall be awarded in the field of technical sciences.
To this end, we would like to ask you to send us, no later than by March 31, 2010 the nominations of eligible candidates for this award.

The nominations should include the following:
1 Scientific Curriculum Vitae
2. Data on publication activites supported by a list of the most important publications
3. Compendious documentation and evaluation of scientific contribution in relation to the SR
We regret to announce that nominations which do not comply with the required criteria shall not be reviewed for selection. Conditions for awarding the prize are specified in the Statutes of the International Prize of the SAS which you may find enclosed.
