3rd call of the SAS Return Project Scheme is open
The Slovak Academy of Sciences has announced the third call for a Return Project Scheme for Parents Returning to Work after Maternity or/and Parental Leave. The call is open from February 1 to March 31, 2024. Eligible applicants can apply for support for their projects in the amount of EUR 5,000 to solve scientific projects for a duration of one year.
The SAS Return Project Scheme (NPS) is intended to facilitate the reintegration of female researchers into scientific life after the end of maternity or parental leave. Both mothers and fathers can apply for funding, provided that they spend at least 12 months on maternity or parental leave. Applications with a return after February 1, 2023 (including) are eligible, and the applicant should not be managing another project at the time of submitting the application.
NPS calls are announced twice a year. A total of 35 applicants responded to both calls announced so far, 16 projects received support.
The completed form (attached at the end of the text) must be sent electronically to: nps@up.upsav.sk (until March 31 inclusive) and in printed form to the following address: Róbert Karul, Head of the Commission for Equal Opportunities, Štefánikova 49, 814 38 Bratislava 1. Only the printed form must be signed. Only one language mutation of the form is filled in according to the applicant´s preferences.
