O článku:

This article is a sequel to my article in Studia Politica Slovaca 1/2009. There I found waves of technological innovations during the period of the modern economy (after 1600 AD). Each wave started with an innovative phase (a technological revolution), continued with an application phase (a boom) and terminated with a crisis. In this article I defined five pre-modern waves of technological innovations in the period roughly from 1900 BC to 1600 AD. These waves are comparable with the modern waves (post-1600). In this more distant past I found 5 technological revolutions which initiated long economic waves: Indo-European technological revolution (1900-1100 BC), Celtic and Greek technological revolution (700-200 BC), Germanic and Slavic technological revolution (300-700 AD), Medieval technological revolution (930-1200) and Renaissance technological revolution (1340-1470).
