Comparative taxonomic-chorological data on Campanula macrostachya and Campanula cervicaria in Slovakia are presented. The most significant distinguishing morphological characters and map of the distribution in the area shared by both species in Slovakia is given. Problems connected with the protection of natural habitats of C. macrostachya are discussed.
