About article:
The byzantine-slavonic liturgy was first translated into Slovak in the thirthies of the 20th century by the priest Pavol Spišák. The translation from 1986 (and partly the translation from 1976) was considerably influenced by inadequate attempts to reform the liturgy according to the latin mass. The recent translation, approved by the Holy Seat in 1998, is a great philological and theological performance.
