Prepositions in Slovak and Polish, state of observation, prepositional meanings, spatial meaning, local (static) meaning
About article:
The basic (primary) meaning of both Slovak and Polish prepositions is a spatial meaning which bears a great variety of nuances. The subject of a contrastive analysis in this contribution is one of the nuances: local (static) meaning „near, in the vicinity, not far from.“ We aimed to describe and compare its expression by means of primary prepositions in Slovak and Polish.
