This article deals with the destructive forms of the Alpine karst, from the Mesozoic part of the Western Tatras (the group of Červené vrchy – Red Hills). On the example of the lapies or clints, of the gradationed karst, dolines and open pits (ghylls), the author studies the evolution of karst formation in relation to the tectonic structure and to the periglacial processes.
