Klimatické pomery kúpeľov Rajecké Teplice a Korytnica

There are several watering places with mineral springs in northern Slovakia. Rajecké Teplice and Korytnica are the famous of them. It is necessary to be acquainted with the climatic conditions for a curative stay in these spas. A concise outline of the climatic conditions of these spas may be classified as follows. According to the Czechoslovakian climatic classification, Rajecké Teplice belongs to the moderately warm region and to the climatic district denominated as moderately warm, moist, with cold winter, valley typic. According to the Swiss spa classification, it belongs to a region with a sedative climatotherapy, stimulation degree 0. The spa of Korytnica belongs to the moderately cool region and to the moist district, according to the Czechoslovakian climatic classification. According to the Swiss classification, Korytnica may be classed to a region climatotherapeuticaly with a moderately stimulative effect, stimulation degree 1.
