On the basis of relevellings and morphological interpretations the authors deal in the contribution with the study of present-day movements of the earth's crust in Slovakia. It arises out of the results that the Carpathian mountain ranges lift unevenly at present, namely with maximum to 1 mm per year, while the near-Carpathian lowered areas subside differentially with maximum up to 5 mm per year.
