Under relative height of precipitation is understood a quotient (expressed in percentage) of average precipitation sum (1931 – 1960) and the sum of precipitation deduced according to the equations II. The relative heights of precipitation were determined on the basis of measurings in 481 precipitation-gage places in Slovakia, namely for calendar winter (XII – II), for cool half-year (X – III), for calendar summer (VI – VIII), for warm half-year (IV – IX) and for year. The evaluation is represented on Maps 1 to 5, on which areas with surplus and lack of moisture arose, when compared with the normal corresponding with the altitude of place above sea level. The study is supplemented with a survey about the change of precipitation in levels marked out (Table 1) and about relative heights of precipitation in selected places of Slovakia (Table 2).
