In the contribution, the occurrence of underground water in the Hron-river alluvion, the extent and thickness of river deposits and the yield of individual wells are synoptically characterized. Main attention is de- voted to the regime of groundwater, to the mean long-term, annual, monthly, weekly, maximum and minimum heightsof its level.
