Termická kontinentalita podnebia na Slovensku

In the article the thermical continentality of climate in Slovakia for the period 1951 – 1980 is evaluated according to the relations of W. Zenker (Kz), W, Gorczyňski (Kg), N. N. Ivanov (KI), S. P. Chromov (KCh), F. Kerner (TK) and L. G. Polozova (Kp1, Kp7). Attention is called to different approaches of the authors to the problems of thermical continentality. The character of continentality in the individual years within the period 1871 – 1980 has been evaluated at the station Hurbanovo. In the concluding part of the article the variability of temperature extremes in Slovakia has been worked up for the period 1951 – 1980. The paper extends the set of Information on the continentality of climate in Slovakia and may serve as a basis in planning various activities in national economy.
