Numerical taxonomy of soils is based on the modified Adansonian principles. An unavitable supposal of numerical classification methods are the selection of objects and characteristics, mathematic-statistic data elaboration, quantification and coding of characteristics. The problem solution alone originates from the cluster analysis, the model of which is based on three supposals: 1. forming of data matrix, 2. data matrix reduction to the matrix of similarity, 3. selection of suitable agglomerative strategy. The specific problem of soil profiles comparation is beeing considered.
