Vzťah maloobchodu a sídelného systému na Východoslovenskej nížine

The data of distribution of retail trade establishments are analysed and the trade centres with their influence spheres are ascertained in the paper. The results are compared with the territory division according to officially established hierarchic categories of settlements and their tributary districts as well as according to further ways of territorial delimitation. The aim has been laid in showing the task of retail trade in forming the nodal regional structure on example of the territory of the East-Slovakian Lowland.
