Výskyt voľného főhnu vo Vysokých Tatrách

In this paper the results of analysis of the occurrence of free foehn at three Tatra stations: Lomnický štít, Skalnaté Pleso, and Štrbské Pleso are discussed. As criterium of free foehn the decrease of the relative air humidity to ≤ 60 % (at observation fixed hours) during anticyclone synoptical situations was used for the period 1961 – 1980. The cases of very low relative air humidity, ≤ 30 % and air temperature were also analysed.
