The paper demonstrates the methodic procedure in creating a large-scale map of land use by application of data gained by optic-analogue interpretation of multispectral aerial photographs. The individual stages of the methodic procedure are represented by compiling a selective interpretation key, by interpretation of co- loured syntheses for the needs of identification of land-use forms mapped, by compiling interpretation schemes and their photooptic transformation into a topographical map (e. g. to a scale 1:10 000).
