Rozmiestnenie a úlohy rozvoja spojovej infraštruktúry Liptova

The Communications of the chosen model region become the subject of study in geography in Slovakia first time. The article describes their system, it presents accessible indexes and selects suitable ones for evaluating its individual components. It describes the spatial lay-out of both facilities and outputs of the individual components of the communication system: post offices, telephony, radio and television in the region of Liptov documented with cartodiagrams. The concluding part of the study gives a view of the structure of Communications and presents regions of the individual types of this structure. The study documents the present-day state of Communications in the region of Liptov. With regard to absence of earlier data it represents a starting-point for recognizing the dynamics of Communications in the future.
