Aquatic plant communities of ten gravel-pit lakes are presented from Borská nížina Lowland. Myriophyllum spicatum is dominant hydrophyte in these man-made aquatic habitats. Both Ceratophyllum demersum and Potamogeton nodosus are occurred constantly. Reed beds formations, mainly of Phragmites australis and Typha angustifolia colonized the fringe of lakes. Hydrocotyle vulgaris was found in littoral of the gravel pits
