Several new and interesting data were sampled during the field research conducted mostly in 2003 and 2004 on the territory of the Muránska planina Mts and adjacent part of the Slovenské rudohorie Mts and Horehronské podolie Basin (central Slovakia). The occurrence and distribution of anthropophytes, rare and endangered taxa in the non-forest plant communities were focussed. New species are presented for this area (Amaranthus powellii, Ambrosia artemisiifolia, Carex buekii, C. hartmanii, Cirsium ×tataricum, Erechtites hieraciifolius, Galium spurium, Helianthus tuberosus, Lepidium densi-florum, Limosella aquatica, Lupinus polyphyllus, Parthenocissus quinquefolia, Scleranthus polycarpos, Sicyos angulata, Solidago gigantea, Symphoricarpos albus) and also new localities of the rare or insufficiently documented taxa
