Annotation
The transition process from the multiethnic and religiously pluralistic Ottoman Empire to the nation-state of the Muslim Turks in historical writings in European languages (ideally including Turkish). Theoretical grounding of the issue, the issue of legitimization of the new arrangement, state borders and any other aspect related to the establishment of the new state. In addition to the "high" historical reflection, it is also possible to emphasize problems of everyday life, partial issues or individual biographies. The time focus is roughly on years between 1910-1930.
