Annotation
Recent research shows that entrainment (alignment, accommodation) between people during speech interaction can have a positive impact on the success of communication, perception of an interlocutor, or promote mutual trust. This research involves implementin g speech entrainment functionality into human-machine communication, and using speech signal processing and machine learning methods for analyzing how speech entrainment affects user’s behavior, decision-making, or emotional state when the user communicates with another person or an automated system (avatar or robotic head).
