Annotation
The main objective of the presented PhD thesis is the development of a microsimulation model that will be used in policy-making in the decision-making sphere. The use of specific applications of microsimulation models is an essential component in the development of concepts, strategies or long-term budgets for different institutions. The creation and application of such a model can cover the education system, the social system, the health sector and many other areas. However, in almost every application of a microsimulation model, the specifics of the field and the objective of the research need to be taken into account. Therefore, the presented PhD topic covers the development and application of a microsimulation model, which will be focused on a narrow, specific area as a supporting tool in policy decision-making.
