Annotation
Thesis project includes synthesis of polyamides by polyadition of biobased unsaturated butyrolactones. Prepared polyamides contain pendant hydroxyl groups, which can be used for further postfunctionalization reactions. Various diamines or polyamines will be used for preparation of the polyamides. The functional polymers at the polymer chain will be subsequently used for postfunctionalization by various bioactive compounds or for grafting of vinyl polymers or polyesters. Polyamides will be also synthesized by polycondensation of diamines with 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid or 2,5-furandialdehyde, which can be also obtained from renewable resources. Synthesized polymers will be characterized by GPC and NMR.
