Annotation
The aim is to create a geometric, mathematical and simulation model in the ANSYS program. The geometric model will be dimensionally identical to real samples of metallic and non-metallic materials, which will be divided into quadratic volume elements using mesh generation. The denser the mesh is chosen, the more accurate the calculations will be. The mathematical model will be defined based on the shape of the heat source and the heat flow density, while it is important to take into account the thermophysical and mechanical properties of individual materials depending on the temperature. The results obtained from the numerical analyses give a relatively objective picture of the behaviour of materials under the influence of the electron beam. The creation of a computer simulation will serve to clarify the thermal and stress-strain analysis of the cutting of various metallic and non-metallic materials by an electron beam, directly applicable in practice.
