Annotation
Torrential rainfall, which is becoming a reality more and more frequently as a result of ongoing climate change, causes major problems, especially in built-up residential areas. On the other hand, in a period of long lack of precipitation, the biota of this type of territory suffers from a lack of water. The content of the dissertation will be the assessment and quantification of the effectiveness of various variants of measures, which should, on the one hand, enable the safe transfer of an excessive amount of water in the limited space of the built-up area, but on the other hand, enable the maximum possible retention of water in such an area. The study will be conducted on a fictitious model territory, so that it is possible to clearly assess the effects of the proposed partial measures and their mutual combinations in a uniform environment. A prerequisite for the successful achievement of the goals is a thorough research of the current state of knowledge of the issue, possible measures in the field of gray or green infrastructure, theoretical analysis of possible methodological procedures, numerical simulation of runoff, as well as the application of statistical analysis methods.
