In the complex environment of cellular processes, communication is the cornerstone that governs essential functions, adaptation and survival. The importance of elucidating the communication between mitochondria and the plasma membrane lies in its key role in the adaptation of cells to environmental changes. Understanding how these two vital cellular components interact and synchronize their functions is critical to understanding cellular responses to stimuli.
