Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is a severe disease linked with an abnormal fibrotic progression within the lungs irreversibly resulting to the loss of function, organ failure and death, which often accompanies so called long covid. Underlying molecular mechanisms are not sufficiently understood. It is our goal to
unravel these mechanisms by means of methods of cellular and molecular biology and biochemistry.
