Annotation
Different morphology and ecology in various butterfly populations indicate that these animals are very suitable bioindicators of environmental changes. Several butterfly groups are also suitable for examination of ecological factors and geographical isolation on evolution of taxons. For these purposes we will combine field observations with morphological and molecular-genetics analyses in the lab. Morphological markers on wings and genitalia will be examined under microscope. For molecular analysis of extracted DNA we will use fragments of mitochondrial, ribosomal and nuclear genes (CO-I, RpS5, EF-1
